REDEFINING THE PLACE TO HAVE “A READING”…

There is not a reason in the world why astrologers and psychics need to necessarily perform their services in occult shops, dusty old book shops, remote and dingy studios, or various kinds of stores or gathering places in which incense is constantly wafted past delicate noses. These can be places tinged with possible heavily-religious significance, and by that I mean some of the Spiritualist Churches, for example,  whose lay members earn money for their Ministers by doing Tarot card readings on alternate weekends or at “mini psychic fairs”, etc. etc.   Sometimes, the little book stores take-on a strong Wiccan or other Earth Magic flavor;  other times, they are Botanicas which are affiliated with healers, magicians, herbalists, and possibly Santerians.  Lately I’ve also come to find that Hindu and Buddhist churches / ashrams also may allow ‘readings’ to take place once a week, or at special festivals, within their hallowed walls.  Often this takes place for one certain ethnic or national group or another.  A visit a few years ago to the Voodoo Museum in New Orleans, for instance, would yield access to psychic readings of your choice from a number of practitioners..  Alas, I’m not sure if that place, in the old French Quarter is even there, anymore!

Back rooms at book stores… Spiritualists… psychic fairs…  gypsies…  office-type private practices…  “witchy” shops… Botanicas… lamasaries and ashrams… Do psychics and astrologers HAVE to work out of these kinds of locations?

No!   I’m working on a NEW CONCEPT, now!   Something which is very seldom seen, but quite possibly the “wave of the future” for a number of psychics and astrologers.  I’ve joined forces with Angel Baggini at his DIVINE TOUCH MASSAGE studio at Fort Lowell & Country Club (in Winterhaven Square — the S.E. corner of that intersection), here in Tucson on at least a trial basis.    I’ve opted to start:  Tuesdays, Thursdays and Saturdays.  This is a wonderful opportunity for my metaphysics-related approach, my astrological forecasting, my Tarot methods, to add a dimension of insight as well as entertainment to the BODYWORK and HEALING ENERGIES that go on at a serious-minded studio such as DIVINE TOUCH.  I’m incredibly excited about the ambience and the atmosphere at DIVINE TOUCH. It feels like you are walking into an art gallery, there, with waiting room and hallways featuring a wonderful art collection.  The “vibes” there are superb!

DIVINE TOUCH will gladly take credit card purchases, which not all locations that offer psychic readings are willing to do, my LAST place sure didn’t want to do it for its readers, and  DIVINE TOUCH MASSAGE doesn’t have the heavy scent of hundreds of different incense sticks and cones hanging in the air, either!  The management and ownership at DIVINE TOUCH is both logical AND compassionate;  progressive and principled!   For now I’ll stay at Metaphysics World on E. Broadway,  but only on some, but not all, Mondays, Wednesdays and Fridays.  If you wish to see me at either location, it is best to call ahead to my cell phone at:  (520) 409-0370.   Or write me at:  ed@edaugusts.com Thank You!  —-Ed
