Jarad Loughner, accused of shooting Rep. Gabrielle Giffords and eighteen other people in Tucson last week, has a chart which shows definite anger issues (Mercury opposition Mars) as well as much too much of a deep, unfulfilled fantasy life (Mercury —the mind-– and Mars —the masculine red planet of energy and anger), squaring Neptune, the planet so often connected with illusions and delusions.) Taken together, his natal aspects and positions made him practically a ticking time-bomb, which was set-off by recent transits by the outer planets.
He obviously needed special treatment and an education tailored to his needs, as well as possible counseling in-line with the potential problems shown in his chart, so as to MAXIMIZE HIS POTENTIAL in this lifetime, and deter the possibility of harm. But… since Astrology is not considered valid or useful by much of society, his potential issues were evidently overlooked, nor does it seem like he get any education, treatment or counseling SPECIFIC to his situation, as shown in his natal chart. WHAT A TRAGEDY FOR EVERYONE CONCERNED that he, his family, teachers, and friends, were probably not even aware of the configurations of planets in his natal chart, or of the usefulness of Astrology in identifying and sorting-out such problems.
